Give
Yourself A Happiness Boost Right Now!
December 2007 When
one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look
so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has
opened for us. ~ Helen Keller
Do you need a happiness boost—right now? If so,
take a look at the options below and make your choices. Remember,
the more you tackle, the bigger the boost you’ll receive.
When you’re feeling blue, it can be hard to muster up the
physical and mental energy to do the things that make you happier.
Flopping down in front of the TV and eating a family sized bar
of chocolate seems like an easier fix.
However, research shows (and you know it’s true) that these
aren’t the routes to feeling better so why not try some
choices below. The more you push yourself, the better you’ll
feel; but if you can’t tackle a big task, just do something
small. Even a little step in the right direction will give you
a lift and remember that life is good when we simply take the
time to focus on what's important.

Inspiration
-

their beauty.
-
Read some poetry.
-
Research some inspiring quotes. Mine change daily but these
words by Ralph Waldo Emerson reminds inspires me to aspire:
"To
laugh often and much;
to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of
children;
to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal
of false friends;
to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others;
to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a
garden, or a redeemed social condition;
to know even one life has breathed easier because you lived. This
is to have succeeded."
I hope that you got to do the items that you checked off and they
made you feel happier. If you have others that you think deserve
a mention, feel free to email me at info@teresawebb.com
I would love to hear from you.
Believing
in you
